I can haz many toys today!

I have been spending a lot lately,gotta control my spending! I can't help it. You shouldn't be surprise hearing this from a girl and secondly,I just got my pay recently so I can't help but go shopping.

Hehe,I finally can haz 4 digit in my personal account!

But I spend away buying a lot of little things. I met up with Joyce and Shirley today in ION,where I had a bowl of yummy ramen in the basement to satisfy my ramen craving. Head off to Zara to look for my 2 pairs of shoes. I wonder if I should FML or not when my size was sold out. Because each pair cost $200! Well,much as I really want those,it's $400 saved. Then we went to Scape,silly me thinking that there's flea today. Joyce and Shirley,so sorry for the trouble! Bought Joyce a box of Royce chocolates and got myself a box too. White choclate,that's what I like. And finally,here's my hoots for today,many cute little toys!

A cute little fan that doesn't seem to blow much wind. You have to wind up the key at the back of it. Then 2 little PENTAX keychain that can be a hotshoe for DSLR,one of which I plan to give to a friend. And the last one was a RnB hippo which I got from Kindersurprise given by Andy. Well,at least it's a RnB and not some love-song hippo. Here's how the keychain looked like on my DSLR:
Cheat my feeling lor! I thought the tiny red dot on the keychain can blink when I put it on the DSLR. End up cannot one. Never mind,I will treat it as a keychain still. It's cute!


Finally gotten myself a BB cover! Isn't the roses chio? It's not really my style,but I certainly like unique stuffs. It's hard to find a nice BB colour,got it from Cine.

And after which we all ate at Macdonald's,and went home. You think I'm gonna let this post slip past without posting my chio pictures inside? You wish! Nah nah nah!

Steamboat party at my house!

The yearly affair,reunion dinner at my place! About last last week's Saturday,which was the 10th of day Chinese New Year,I held a steamboat at my place. This is the time to meet everyone who's been busy for the whole year!
Tadah! Look at all the food! There's more coming up,and many more that I actually forgot to bring out (and my mom nagged at me for leaving so much food in the fridge). Cousins*,can we have another steamboat again?

Thank goodness for Josh who would usually arrive earlier to help me with the food. He's a good cook! And slowly,the cousins* came in one by one.
Guess who greeted the cousins* first?

BOBO!

This little fur ball which every year,everyone says that they are going to include him in the steamboat menu. It's so hard to get a picture of him like that,but Andy did it with the lure of a crabstick!


Food,food! Time to eat!
They keep using my signature pose... And there's one sibei act-cute one below,neh,the one that stick out his tongue and wink one!

And they were actually playing this, 'Cut the String' or something. Keep screaming. I thought my neighbour would come over any time to tell us to keep quiet. It sounds like a fun game though,lots of patience required to solve it!

The outcome of my photoshoot in the studio today

You guys have not seen my pretty face for a long long time right? -flicks hair-
Nah,I'm putting my photo shoot's pictures here. Its taken today,and I think that they're fantastic!

And I don't know how I managed this. I went to my friend's birthday chalet the night before the shoot,stayed up the whole night till day break and slept for awhile before heading off to the studio. I think you guys might be able to see fatigue written on my face,so sorry if my smile is a bit weak or repetitive!

After the shoot,I hung out with Jia Qi and Jing Long for the rest of the day. You wouldn't wanna know our places,it feels like a lot! Vivo>Bugis>Raffles City>Marina Bay Sands and finally home. Right now as I'm typing this,I'm eating my favorite Bak Chor Mee store which I made a detour just to buy it! :D

Food Review

Opps! I guess I haven't been updating for 2 whole weeks,sorry for the hiatus. I have been so busy with school work and my mind could only do whirl doing math calculations. That means I'm smart? Nah,I just flunk my physics level test. Esk!

Anyway,I'm back here today because of what? For all of you! I want to share with you a restaurant which I have recently been to,thanks to Dennis for inviting. Just last week,I went to this restaurant located in Centrepoint. Hidden away from the crowd in basement 1,you have to make your way through a small corridoor and up the escalator right in front of Guardian.

Being a chinese restaurant,Shanghainese restaurant to be exact,let's start off with the famed

XIAO LONG BAO BAO BAOOOOO~~
I LOVE XIAO LONG BAO! This basket of 4 costs $4. I cannot comment much because I was busy taking photos of other food that by the time I eat it,it's already cold. As I frequent Din Tai Feng's Xiaolongbao,I would say Eastern's is worth a try.

Collagen noodle soup
This bowl of noodle has got noodles that are so Q! No,not cute. I mean Q,it's like bouncy when you chew on it. So why collagen? Does it catch your attention? Yes,its filled with collagen. The soup is refreshing and light to taste. Bland if you need to describe it,not too flavourful for ladies who don't want flavours exploding in their mouth.

Prawns
Flavourful indeed! Yummy prawns that are thoroughly cooked. But that would mean that these prawns doesn't have the QQ feel to it.

Om nom nom.
No,that's not the name of this dish either. I'm just saying it because it looks so fluffy with icing on top,that you just wanna OM (eat,my definition of saying it. COPYRIGHTED HOR!) it!


Sour vegetable soup?
I can't remember the exact name,but I would assure you,this is not sour but salty. Mmm.. Yeap,still too salty for my liking.

Century Egg Beancurd
Yes,this is the yummiest dish ever. I vote 5 stars for this! This is also the best dish that I like,out of all the dishes that I have tasted in Eastern restaurant. Beancurd,no matter where it's sold at (unless you are talking about smelly toufu),is always bland. You know I would be bluffing you all if I said this is flavourful. So the bland beancurd,together with the salty soy sauce and century egg topping,you can say that this dish combination's flavour just EXPLODED in your mouth!

Lastly,Yee Sang. Yu sheng. My favorite!
The bloggers and I lou-ed until the whole table is so messy. Typical,isn't it? :D

Why is this getting to know chinese food? Because you can call me a western-food person,I would choose western food than anything else. But this dinner,some dishes were surprisingly good and some were typical. Yummy! I think next time,I would be bringing my mom along to try out the food.

Hello everyone,I hope you have collected many many angpaos by now. Have your relatives asked you many questions? I can imagine the most frequently asked question would be:
"Have you gotten yourself a boy/girl already? Haiya,why never bring him/her here?"
Wanna avoid those questions? Go get attached,hee!

My family and I ate steamboat,vegetarian style becaues there is no meat present. And I had gotten myself a pair of Hello Kitty kids chopstick from Daiso.

Seems to be a little too short though.

I cannot wait to see my relatives and cousins* for all the yummy food + gambling! Once a year ;)
