Yeah,F1 live screening you would probably understand what it is. But mini singles party? No no,it's not little single dwarfs party. It's Singles party with Mini (BMW) as one of its sponsors,which is held at CHIJMES. 6 lucky men and ladies who registered has be selected to go on a date with a Mini! Aren't they lucky? Of course,the men must hold driving license,otherwise how they drive?

They remind me not of chao ahbeng but little guys in geeks spects and suspenders.... Haha! I think you get what I mean,just more suitable for the gentleman kind of car.

The MC elaborated on the purpose of event and the sponsors,mainly OMY.sg,MINI,bobby's and the Singapore's government dating agency. Finger food and alcoholic drinks were served,tips on first dates were given. Everyone mingled and instead of asking the usual questions like,what are you doing currently,we're told to ask: What would be your dream job?
I think that's a good question,when a person can answer that question shows how ambitious the person is. At least you know he/she isn't just idling with life and could possibly be working hard towards his/her goal!

Thank goodness no one asked me,I would probably be replying " I wanna be Miss Universe." Technically speaking it isn't exactly a job,but people would like,she's in her own world. Whatever.

I ran off in excitement with June and Joyce to the carpark where the Minis were parked at.
And tadah,cute little minis! I chose the white one,it's so cute and unique!

And we went back in to join others. Questions were asked,allowing people to win prizes. I think our table won the most prizes. The sponsors had been very generous with the prizes! I myself won a facial worth $1200 by Q-Med,William and Jian Hao each won a Netbook while June and Joyce won a MINI t-shirt; all these for answering the correct question correctly! The other 3 netbooks were given to others who went up to answer questions. Oh my,I think other people are probably hating us for winning all the prizes. -hides-

These few days has been pouring and I totally hate it when it rains just right after I finish school! It's so hard for me to get home or even walk out of school. There's no shelter and I definitely wish that there's someone who could drive in a slick red Ferrari to come and fetch me home. No Ferrari also can,how about this pretty little white mini?

Just this afternoon on the 24th of September 2010,I went down to see Adam Lambert at the airport! Oh hell yeah,the night before my friends and I were on twitter talking about going to see him. Marcus and I were suppose to meet at 10.30am for breakfast but I overslept until 11.30am. Left my house and headed straight for the airport. The wait for Adam Lambert was in between 12.30pm and 1.30pm. On my way there,2 girls who were on the same train as me started running as soon as we left the station. Hahaha,kancheong spiders. I was late though,but Adam Lambert was not out yet. Finally saw Denise and her friends,who had markers and albums in their hands for Adam Lambert in case he's signing.

Anyway,he finally appeared at 12.50pm. The moment he appeared,the crowd scream in unison. Which looked something like that:

Someone screamed,he's there! In a cap! And a few of us were like,where where?
And I finally saw him like that,but I didn't really recognize him. Ditch the cap and shades,throw on a costume,make up and hair. I would have recognized him!

While everyone was in front,I quickly ran to the back. Woah,NO ONE! Because everyone is at the front hoping he would sign something. At least running to the back was a good choice,because there's no one = higher chance he'll look into my cam...

I feel like I could relate to this song because it will ask me back what am I waiting for? I should be studying now,I would 'grow' and it's my life,'it could be great'. And as a blogger,not just me but everyone else hates to be copied so don't even try to be our 'cloners'!


Yet to start studying,have had been having recurring nightmares about my school and the things that I didn't have time doing. All those stress... Could that have subconsciously given me a phobia to fall asleep? Because when night falls,I become very awake and only falls asleep when dawn is here.

OLA! Remember the movie "Love Cuts"?
A Clover Film produced locally,the female lead and the director had a sharing session on courtesy of kbox. I was excited to see what the actor and directors had to say about the movie,imagine up close and listening right from their mouths! Hurhur,okay,I'm a bit crazy. But here are the photos anyway.

Also they asked for the opinions from the audience,which many said that they like the movie and can relate to the movie. It's just like what I have mentioned in the previous post,some felt that it's not possible for 'Sissy' not to share with the model that she too has breast cancer,so yeah,that part was unrealistic. I do agree on that.

Unexpectedly,she brought 2 items to auction at the session!
Woah,definitely a surprise. Was not expecting this. First item was a 4-section bag which she bought from Japan while shopping with her friends. I can't remember the brand. The auction went like this,each time a person puts up their hand,the bid will go up by $50. The base was $50. It was a fierce auction for this bag,it went all the way up to $1001.68 !

Wondering why is the price so weird? Well,this man here is a BIG fan of Zoe Tay! He had a fierce competition with another 2 auntie who wants the bag too. And he decided to to go for $1001.68 cause it's Zoe Tay birthday! Born on the 10 of January 1968,now I know her birthday ;)

And the second item?
A Armani dress bought while she was in New York,which was settled for $350. I like the dress too! But sadly,I'm only a student. I can't afford it! And the successful bidder of the dress?

Love Cuts feat. Zoe Tay semi-nude : To watch or not?

In Singaporean drama "Love Cuts", a 40-year-old mother of two (Zoe Tay) struggles with terminal breast cancer. It's touted as not only a poignant and moving portrayal of the challenges she faces as a result of her diagnosis, but also of how she inspires and changes the lives of the people around her. Also starring Hong Kong's Kenny Ho. Directed by Gerald Lee and scripted by Danny Yeo and Lee Shyh Jih. This movie receives the backing of Singapore's Health Promotion Board.

I would rate this as 4 stars against 5. A local movie that focuses on emotions and expressions. With regards to the expressions,the actors weren't exceptionally good in bringing out the feel. Maybe they felt the pain or sadness but it doesn't seem to show too much on the face. Instead,there was a lot of crying and stony expressions which left me wondering what is the actor thinking or reacting. It doesn't help when the movie is a little draggy.

So why 4 against 5 stars? The plot is good,it rises the awareness of breast cancer to people. It briefly showed people how important it is to go for check up without turning it into a documentary. Cantonese-speaking Singaporeans would find this movie a sense of familiarity as Zoe Tay speaks to her husband in Cantonese in the movie. Definitely,this should be a reminder for everyone not to only start caring for someone when things happen.

Bonus:
It might be a bit of a shock to see Zoe Tay's bareback and other actors top naked,but hey,you gotta step out of your shell man! They are damn sexy,it wouldn't occur to you that Zoe Tay has given birth before!

Zoe Tay,the mother of two sons is currently pregnant with a third child. She is expected go into labour in October.

Production stop after a cable sliced through girl's SKULL on Transformers 3!

Trouble on Transformers Set: Production Shut Down After Serious Injury

Near-tragedy on the set of Transformers 3.

An extra was hospitalized Wednesday evening after suffering a severe head injury during filming of a stunt that went awry.

According to the Indiana State Police, the woman, who was not part of the stunt team was behind the wheel of a car when an object smashed through her windshield.

"Preliminary investigation revealed that shortly before 7 p.m, the movie crew was filming a stunt using numerous vehicles and drivers," authorities said in a statement. "During this stunt, an object struck a 2006 Toyota, hitting the vehicle, and then went through the windshield hitting the driver."

Her car in turn plowed into a median barrier wall and continued on about a mile before coming to a halt.

A local ABC affiliate identified the victim as 24-year-old Gabriela Cedillo and quoted a fellow extra as saying she had been injured by a tow cable that came loose.

"The vehicle was being towed by another vehicle," extra Blaine Baker told the station. "The cable between the two vehicles broke. It whipped around and sliced through the woman's car and sliced through her skull, apparently."

Production was immediately suspended, and Cedillo was airlifted to Loyola Medical Center in Maywood, Ill. No word on her condition.

Police are probing the mishap. Reps for Paramount Pictures and DreamWorks, the studios coreleasing Transformers 3, have yet to comment.

The Michael Bay-directed flick, starring Shia LaBeouf and newcomer Rosie Huntington-Whiteley (in place of the departed Megan Fox), had been scheduled to film today in Chicago's Millennium Park. But that shoot has since been canceled and it's unknown if the accident played a role in that decision.
