Do you know how small is our universe?


Light travels in exactly 299,792,458m/s . That's 29.9 million metres,approximately 300,000km per second! So imagine our latest radio detectors can detect up to 13.7 billion light years away. That is up to date,how good our technology is. And the ratio of the planets,everything is accurate. Actually,whether you want to believe it or not is okay. I believe,life form definitely exists in other parts of the Universe. Just that we do not know,and we don't have the technology to travel so far into the future. Yes,from this video,I marvel at the size of our universe. And I hate it because it makes me feel so inferior,insecure and insignificant. It makes me scared,what lies outside our 7 planets? If we are only a speck of light dot,what about the other specks of light dots that are next to us?

Let's take a trip to Paris and I will bring you to the top of Eiffel Tower.

Beautiful,isn't it?
Seeing it on postcards,googled images; but nothing beats seeing the Eiffel Tower personally. I took a train there after visiting thee Louvre,I think I reached in between 5pm-7pm (Paris time) about 2 months back. Anyway,from the train station (feels like the east-west line in Singapore) all the way to the Eiffel Tower,there are people selling Eiffel Tower souvenirs. It gets more and more expensive,so if you buy right before you reach,it is the cheapest.

The number of people queuing to buy tickets up the Eiffel tower is madness! It's such a long queue. I lost track of time,but I'd I probably waited for half an hour? It feels long because it is VERY cold. Being small framed,I only wore 2 piece but it wasn't enough. And there were street peddlers who would constantly approach you to buy souvenirs. And cold mineral water. Like I would buy!
There are groups of guards walking around,not just one. And you cannot bring any glass bottles up the tower,they will put your stuffs through the scanner before letting you up. Anything happens? Just shout for them. Mmm,sexy!

You can choose to buy a ticket that goes all the way to the top or just up the second floor. I'm a youth because I'm in between 12 - 24 years old,so a ticket all the way to the top only cost me €11.50 ($19.55). Mid way would be €6.40 ($10.88). So I might as well go all the way to the top right?

The wait to take the lift up the top of Eiffel Tower was superbly cold that I kept trembling! What to do? Hello,I have got no one with me there okay. Mad saddening. Maybe I will just google Hugh Jackman and photoshop him to stand beside me! -beam-

I'm holding something in my hand. There are 2 kinds of flavor,one costlier than the other. A cup of it cost 17 euros. I guess it's actually worth it to down it with your partner while enjoying this view,it's so warm and slightly against the cold. And with your partner? That's probably the max combo! No wonder they call it the City of Love,because of the view from the top of Eiffel Tower!

Paris is such a wonderful place!
I didn't get to go shopping too much cause I didn't know where are they located. I only went to see certain landmarks and famous-y stuffs over there. For the past few days,I kept dreaming of walking along the streets once again. Sheesh. I will be back.

On the courtesy of omy.sg ,I was invited to Heaven's Loft to attend this party. The party held a girly and creative concept to make the ladies feel comfortable in it. Food was provided and it oh-so-yummy! These are just the desserts. Look at the tarts,so many variety! Omnomnom~

Photos of a good day in town

Must a good day be out shopping and catching movies,making ourselves tired and finally collapsing in bed at the end of the day? No,definitely not. A good day in town,is walking in no rush to anywhere but the top and enjoy the scenery.

Lovely day it is,not sunny yet not raining either. It's the best to look at the clouds and the orange sky behind them.

Quite a relaxing place to be at,unfortunately the security guards don't allow people to sit there.

A yummy spaghetti dinner and a good movie. 'Love in disguise' the main lead plays the guzheng,how nice! It makes me wonder what should I do with mine too,since I already got my diploma. Go to China for 4 years to further studies?


Night came,but it never rained. Only the big wind that blew our hair messy...

Chocolate banana cake and ice cream to end the night,yummy!

Top it off with a mango-peach smoothie.
Both are nice,but it's a mistake to get these at the same time. One lose it's sweetness to the other. Nevertheless,yummy.

City Under Siege movie review: To watch or Not to watch?

City Under Siege


Sunny (Aaron Kwok) is a clown in a circus act but he aspires to be a top performer just like his dad, The King of Flying Knife. While in Malaysia, Sunny and a few of his circus performer friends go for a treasure hunt, stumbling upon barrels of bio-chemicals left from the war. Upon returning, some of the members are mutating due to inhaling the bio-chemicals but Sunny seems fine from the exposure. They gain extraordinary superhuman powers. The leader of the entertainment outfit Chang Tai Chu (Colin Chou) decides to use this newfound strength to do evil. As there is an increase of crime in the city, the media and the police get involved. Kungfu master Suan Hou (Wu Jing) and policewoman Xin Hua (Zhang Jin Chu) enter the fray, while Angel (Shu Qi), a reporter who is recently demoted, also pursues the case in hopes of rescuing her flagging career.

I would rate this movie 3.5 stars against 5. It's a good movie about romance and action. Aaron Kwok really does immerse himself in the role. And Shu Qi is still the chiobu,just look older only. Definitely a movie not to disappoint you. Catch in cinemas on the 19th August!

My ratings for this movie is 3/5
It really is a hilarious show! Not to forget,the actors (Gurmit Singh and Irene) came to the theatres after the movie ended. They are remarkably good actors,really know how to make the crowd laugh and immerse themselves in their roles.

As that is the last day of Yishun GV before they start renovation,we were all allowed to take something home from the cinemas. Such as small pieces of carpet. But they aren't that stupid,we might just throw that smelly/unhygienic nice carpet away right? They framed it up for us! But I took something else instead. Little updates on my current life now.
Common tests from Wednesday to Friday,I gotta study study study!

Not saying that I given up hope on Math,but I think those are die-die-memorize-formula subjects. So I gotta learn from those formulas. I have yet to memorize essays for my Social Studies! Gosh. Reading up on Physics now,circuits are making the circuits in my mind go haywire. But it's a subject that I have confidence in. Continue to study~ After this period I should be able to relax. Time seemed to pass so fast,after my trip I could still remember telling myself that I wanna study hard for my common tests,in a blink of an eye,common tests are coming in a couple days' time.
Glad that I have a couple days to study,thanks to national day.
